Better late than never...

I'm a bit late with this week's update - I'll blame it on our busy weekend! The good news is that by being late, I'm able to include more pictures!

Charlotte seems to be growing overnight! She is eating quite a bit, has moved into the next size of diapers (3) and is almost too long for her 9 month sleepers! She does seem to be a little thinner around the middle - it must be all the exercise! Charlotte has started a real army crawl and has made it as far as the kitchen sink - all the way from the fireplace in the living room! She is still chasing the dog, but she will get distracted by the dining room rug - all those circles!

Last night, she pushed into a standing position with her legs while leaning with her hands on one of her toys - kind of like a downward dog position in yoga! That was the first time we saw that happen. No pictures, unfortunately...I think I scared her and she sat back down!

She finally fits into the cute outfit from GGma and GGpa!

We started swimming lessons last week. Just Charlotte and Mommy went week one, so it was difficult to take pictures! Week 2, Daddy got in the water and Mommy acted as photographer! Charlotte was really good in the water - she wasn't thrilled with being on her back, but if she had the toy to hold on to, she let it happen!

She is the youngest in the class and looks tiny next to all of the other kids:

Hopefully we won't outgrow the swimsuit before swim lessons are over!

Last night, Oma and Aunt Nickie came to visit! Aunt Nickie is Oma's aunt, so she is actually Charlotte's great-great-aunt! We had a great dinner (Daddy cooked) and got to enjoy each other's company.
