Cake smashing, part 1 and 2

This weekend started Charlotte's one year birthday celebration! This lucky girl is getting to celebrate multiple times over the next two weeks and it looks like she is going to enjoy every bite of every cake she can get her hands on!

On Friday, we all went to see Carrianne to get Charlotte's one year pictures taken. In addition to regular posed pictures and family pictures, Charlotte got to do a "cake smashing" photo session. Though the pictures won't be ready for another two weeks, we did take video of Charlotte eating her first birthday cake!


Today, Charlotte had a combined birthday party with Naomi and Briley for our baby group - there were 13 toddlers in our house! The girls dressed up in their jean skirts and birthday onsies and had a ball! They played, climbed stairs and ate lots of goldfish. Each of them also got to have their own cupcake. As you can see from the pictures and video, Charlotte again enjoyed her cake and frosting. Naomi and Briley were much more mature, having already celebrated their first birthdays in February :)
