It's beginning to look a lot like...

Christmas? But it isn't even Thanksgiving yet! We went to our local tree lighting event this weekend - they had Santa up in the Fire Engine ladder basket lighting a tree that was at least two stories up. Charlotte wasn't too impressed, but she liked the lights and running around with all of the other kids. Maybe she'll get more out of it next year.

GGma and GGpa also came to visit on their way to Minnesota. Charlotte talked up a storm and was much friendlier this visit - she gave kisses and everything!

Some other fun things we did this weekend:
- We almost cause a riot at library story time on Friday! She wanted to run around and some of the other kids followed her lead. Not sure we'll be invited back there.
- We had a yummy lunch with Carrie and sweet little Caidan - he's just 3.5 months old! I got to hold him while his mama ate and Charlote didn't seem to mind at all. She was much more interested in his snow suit that made him look like a little bear.
- We went to visit Tim, Elaina and Izzy and their new addition, Avery - she's so tiny! She slept while I held her for quite a while and Charlotte had a great time playing with Izzy and her toys.
- We attended the November Potluck for the play group - lots of friends for Charlotte, Mommy and Daddy and lots of great food. It does seem to get more hectic with each month - the kids are definitely more active than they used to be!

Charlotte has started saying "Please" when she wants something - we usually need to prompt her with "what do you say?" unless it's something that we are having and she wants us to share - then she starts off by saying "peas? peas?" This morning, she kept saying "peas tac caw" - I think it's "please, thank you" but we'll get more opinions on that this weekend!
