Big girl room!

Charlotte spent her first night in her big girl room on Friday! She slept on a twin mattress and boxspring - the perfect height for her to get up and down. We put a rail on one side and the other side is against the wall, but she didn't seem to have any trouble sleeping right in the middle with her head on the pillow! So far, we have two nights and two naps under our belts - we'll see how well the rest of the week goes!!

Daddy spent lots of late nights putting the room together. He had to pull up the parquet floor, the baseboards and the trim around the windows. After replacing the baseboard and trim, he also replaced the closet doors. We got new carpet and painted - it looks completely different! Mommy decorated before Charlotte came home on Friday and Charlotte went right up to her new room after school.

She loves all of the space and her pillows especially. She also liked when we moved her clothes and shoes to the closet - she's never had access to all of her shoes at once, so we had to try all of them on!
