She's gotten her two year molars on the bottom but we're still waiting on the ones on top. Unfortunately she's been prone to ear infections lately, so she's started waking up in the middle of the night. Whether in the middle of the night or the morning, she usually yells for Daddy when she wakes up :) They've been spending lots of time together in the evening - bath, brushing teeth and story time have all become Daddy's responsibility since Mommy is usually feeding Susannah. Before she goes to bed, though, she has to get smooches and hugs from everyone, including the dog. Poor Cinder.
Charlotte can sing the alphabet, Take me out to the ballgame, the Rainbow song, Twinkle Twinkle, Clean up Clean up, Baby Bumblebee, Itsy bitsy Spider and a lot more songs that she learned at school. She has also learned her colors and can count to 14, though she often will skip the number 6. She still loves her stickers and has started just piling them on top of each other on the paper. She's also started lining things up - her stuffed animals, her shoes, her little people.
Last night I offered to help her get up into her chair. She held out her hand to stop me and said "I need no help!" We are definitely hearing more complete sentences and she repeats everything.
Recently, Charlotte has actually started playing with her friends, rather than just playing near them. One of her "besties" is Addison who lives by us and also goes to school with Charlotte. They are only a few weeks apart in age! Addie also has a new little brother who is just two months younger than Susannah!
Note: Charlotte is 28 pounds and 36 inches tall
