Halloween recap
We have had lots of fun this Halloween season! Charlotte and Susannah made good use of their dress-up clothes and old Halloween costumes - they wore a total of 6 costumes all together! We went to our park district's costume party - the girls had a great time coloring, playing games and jumping in the bounce house.
We hosted the annual Halloween potluck at our house this year - it was a little chaotic with about 50 people, over half of them kids. Lots of fun costumes - everything from super heros to the grinch and the scarecrow from Wizard of Oz. We did a Disney theme - Cinderella, Snow White, Tinkerbelle and the Prince.
Charlotte threw a curveball in with the princess costumes and decided to be an Engineer (like Daddy) for the library story time.
For school and for trick-or-treating, C decided on yet another costume - Snow White.
We had fun trick-or-treating with Briley and her family. Charlotte and Briley ran from house to house, with Susannah not far behind. The big girls said "trick-or-treat" at each house and explained what their costumes were. Susannah liked taking the candy from the bowl at each house and would say "thank you" before moving on to the next house. She definitely knew what was in her bucket and would tell anyone who tried to take something out "mine!"
After trick-or-treating, the girls played with Annabelle's seat - best rocking chair around.
