Susannah turned 2 today! We had a low key day, starting with a giant cinnamon role that Daddy and Charlotte picked out. Grocery shopping, swinging, side walk chalk and playing inside...a pretty good day to be Susannah.
Susannah is talking up a storm, saying words I wouldn't expect her to know. Charlotte told her last week that she was almost 2 - Susannah said "Already?" She asked me to take the clothes off of the Ken doll, because "It's bath night". She has definitely started to test us, hitting her sister, saying no, she has been coloring on the walls (or floor, or shelves), putting things in the toilet, throwing water out of the tub. While her sister never stayed in timeout until recently, Susannah sits on the stair until her time is up...then goes right back to what she was doing that caused the time out in the first place. She smiles and giggles all the time, the most at night right before bed. She asks to be rocked after reading and she gets slap happy - giggling even if I pretend to tickle her neck. She loves playing with her baby dolls and Charlotte's Barbies, has recently gotten into puzzles and legos, too. At school, she has learned her colors (though she sometimes gets mixed up between blue and green), she can count (1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10) and can sing the ABCs. She is so sweet, giving hugs and kissed all the time, pretty calm.
Update: We had Susannah's 2 year doctor appointment. She's 33.5 inches tall (50%) and 24.5 pounds (25%). She is talking and running as the doctor expected her to!
