9 month milestones

Even though Charlotte was officially 9 months old almost 2 weeks ago on December 27, we finally made it to the doctor for her 9 month appt today! She is weighing in at 20 pounds, 10 oz (75%) and she is 27.75 inches tall (50%). The doctor seemed pretty happy with her growth and what she can do physically. She only had to get her second H1N1 shot and some blood drawn, so it was only a little traumatic :)

The big news is that Charlotte stood by herself for the first time yesterday and she had a new tooth when she woke up this morning! It seems like she is growing up all at once! Her tooth is the bottom right, just peaking through the gums so it feels rough if you rub your finger on her gums (she loves that, by the way). She stood yesterday when she was trying to get from the ottoman to me...guess I was a little further than she thought! She stood there for about 30 seconds and then slowly lowered herself down to the ground. She has done it a few more times today!

Besides the two new things, she is waving (inconsistently), cruising, babbling, crawling FAST, climbing stairs, and feeding herself anything we'll put in front of her!
