We've been spending a lot of time outside. We take walks each night in the wagon and go to the park on Fridays or the weekends. Charlotte loves the swings and slide. We started playing in the front yard with Charlotte's little slide and ball, but she seems more interested in tasting the leaves!

This weekend we went down to see Daddy's building and visit with Laurie for lunch. Saturday we got to spend with Charlotte's baby group - we need to come up with a new name because all the babies are running around now! It was luau themed, so Charlotte wore one of her brightest outfits, got to wear a lei and tried pulled pork for the first time :) She had a great time running around with all of the other kids - this is the first potluck that she was able to walk.

She got very upset...we don't know if the step was cold on her feet or if she just didn't want to come inside!
Some other recent milestones:
- Standing up without holding onto anything
- Doing "So big" with her arms - like all of her other "tricks," she does not do this one on demand.
- Saying Bye and Quack, Quack
- Ticklish under her chin - she laughs so hard if she's in the right mood
- Trying to run - getting in as many steps as she can before she falls
- Tantrums - flopping down on the ground, head down, crying...for about 30 seconds. Then she gets distracted and goes on to something else.
- Chattering all of the time! Sometimes she yells, sometimes she speaks softly - it definitely sounds like she has her own language
- Drinking primarily from the sippee cup - she still gets a bottle before bed

She is getting so big! The first picture of her outside she really looks more toddler than baby. You still heading this way soon?
