We had a great lake house weekend with friends - swimming, sunbathing, eating! Charlotte enjoyed the lake in her life jacket and got to sit in an innertube with Karen and Daddy. She even took a little dive when she decided to get out of her floaty by herself! When she got tired of the lake, she got to swim in a kiddie pool and eat rice krispy treats, play with bubbles and race around with 9 adults waiting on her hand and foot :) Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures to show, but we did manage to get a video.
All good things must come to an end...around dinner time on Saturday, Charlotte started having trouble breathing and we ended up taking her to the Effingham ER at 4 am Sunday mornign - her first ER trip! She got to have a chest x-ray and was diagnosed with pneumonia and an ear infection. At least it wasn't a wasted trip! She has been on meds all week and even has her own nebulizer for breathing treatments. Hopefully she'll be all better before our trip this weekend!

Oh man. Sorry to hear about the ER! Hope she is doing better! Sounds like it was tons of fun up until then!
