Trip to Franklin

Charlotte took her first plane trip last weekend when we went to visit Nunu's family in Massachusetts. First she got to ride on a plane and eat all the snacks she could stuff in her mouth. She was really good and got lots of compliments.

So was peek-a-boo with the people behind us!

Right after we got off the plane, we went to lunch with Nancy (Mommy's college roommate) and her daughter Lindsay. It was the first time that Charlotte and Lindsay met - they are only 3 months apart!

We had fun visiting Grammie and Grampie, Auntie Lisa, Auntie Robin and Uncle Paul and Erin. Then we all went to dinner at Auntie Linda's restaurant. We stayed with Auntie Linda and it was so nice - Charlotte had her own room and a ton of toys to play with. Thanks Linda and Louie!!



The next day, we got to visit more family at Cousin Cindy's house! They have a pool and Charlotte was in and out all day - she loved it.

On Monday, we went to Cape Cod to visit Cousin Holly and her family - we were on the beach for about 15 minutes before the skies opened up! Charlotte got her first (quick) dip in the ocean and then got to ride in the back of a pick-up with all of her little cousins! I think that we fit 14 people in the truck to get off the beach. With the rain, we spent the rest of the day inside watching movies and eating. Charlotte loved playing with her cousins! Later that night, we got to eat more yummy food with Auntie Donna and Uncle Lenny - Daddy was very excited to have a lobster roll for lunch and stuffed quohogs for dinner!

On Tuesday, we went to Naragansett, RI with Cousin Heather and her kids - this time we really got to play on the beach! Charlotte loved the waves and kept running out to play in them! She also liked the sand and even took a little taste.

Back in Franklin, we had one last dinner with the family and got to meet the newest addition - Leo!
Four generations!

Hmmm, maybe Daddy asked us to make funny faces? Charlotte looks to be finished with picture taking in this one.

The flight back home wasn't quite as easy as the flight there, but still went pretty smoothly. Charlotte actually fell asleep right before we landed and stayed asleep as we got off the plane, put her in the stroller and got our baggage - she must have been really worn out!
